From Thursday to Friday afternoon alone, one person died and about 20 suffered nonfatal drug overdoses in the area, said Bill Shralow, a spokesman for the Camden County prosecutor's office. He said it appeared most of the problems stemmed from the heroin. Most of the drugs were believed to have been bought from street dealers in Camden in bags with names such as Flatline, Monkey, Al Capone and Echo.You must avoid the purchase of bags with such names at all costs! Lynch said investigators believe that the deaths and overdoses are being caused by unusually powerful heroin, and not by poisonous substances sometimes used to dilute drugs.
