I moved to Costa Rica in June of 2006 and I’ve been moving around to different parts of the country, staying about a month in each place, trying to master the Spanish language while getting to know the country and meeting people.

There are many wonderful people here and in the middle of July a sweet little kitchen showed up in the dining room where I was staying then, ill but enthusiastic and loving. I called her Luzita and she is now my companion, who goes where I go and who is also helping to spread love. People seem to adore my little black cat and I’m sure they will enjoy having kittens, something I’ve never let one of my cats do before.

What else can I say about myself? I’m still a romantic, though instead of just waiting for Mr. Right I’m now also open to Sr. Derecho, or any other good man who’s available and just right for me.

In the meantime I’m enjoying life and learning lots and lots every day.
